The first model of this table was designed by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret in 1934 for the Paris apartment of Le Corbusier. Its sculptural impact makes this an exquisite, versatile, iconic piece of furniture equally appropriate in classic and modern settings. The second model was designed with a slate top for the Maison du Jeune Homme [House for a Young Man] for the Brussels Expo in 1935.
